Nha Trang has seen a great deal of development over recent years, which has ensured that some of the best-known hotels chains throughout the world have moved in. The coastal resort offers luxury accommodation with beachside villas, smaller hotels with their own pools and budget guesthouses with basic facilities but a great deal of character. There is something for everyone in Nha Trang and with the continuing increase in tourist numbers, the options are set to improve further still.

Multi-national chains have moved in which is always a sign that things are going to improve economically. Some of the best hotels in the city can be found right on the beach. Many of these are exclusive resorts boasting top of the range facilities, private beach areas and excellent service.

There is also a selection of mid-range establishments which are perfect for families. While they might not provide as much luxury and aren't as indulging as some of the top-end hotels, they still boast good facilities and a friendly atmosphere. Many are right on the beach and have their own pools for those who are fed up with the sand.

There are six beaches within Nha Trang, but the most popular one and the one with the most hotels and amenities is Tran Phu. It is here where you will find the most extensive range of accommodation options with everything ranging from small family-run guesthouses to large luxury hotels. Tran Phu street spans the length of the beach and houses many of the city's hotels, restaurants and bars.

The northern part of Nha Trang is a lot quieter and you will find idyllic lodgings in amongst the stunning scenery. There is not much in the way of nightlife or entertainment options here, but it is the perfect place to escape everyday life.

Budget hotels can be found in abundance; after all, Nha Trang began life as a backpacker's destination. They can be found on all of the beaches, down little side roads, in the surrounding countryside and even up in the hills. These offer basic facilities but are often very comfortable and of course, cheap.

Tall hotels, regardless of standard, are far cheaper than they would be in Europe or the US. Five-star facilities can be enjoyed at a fraction of the cost, which leaves more money for entertainment and dining out.
