A bit pricy but great option for the quality & size of the rooms as well as the great location. (JMG 06/09)

Lobby

The lobby is big, with the reception on the left hand side and the bar at the end of the reception. There is some stairs in the middle that communicate with the restaurant. As previously said, the reception is still old fashion and nothing to do with the style in the rooms.

Exterior

A high block of apartments from the 70's. This is maybe the lowest point of the hotel and its not related with the good quality of the rooms.

Restaurant

The hotel has its own restaurant where offers a selection of traditional and international dishes. There is also a roof terrace where to enjoy a really good views of the city.

Rooms

This hotel has been recently renovated and even when the reception area seems a bit old fashion the rooms are of great quality. All rooms are in perfect condition in modern style. The rooms have all type of facilities as lcd TV, satellite channels, tea & coffee facilities and safe box in every room. All rooms have of course, air conditioning and minibar. The bathrooms are medium size and in perfect condition

Location

The hotel is situated in the heart of Sultanahmet/Sirkeci within walking distance of all the main attractions, including Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Eminonu Pier. The Taksim area, well known for its wide variety of restaurants and bars, is a short taxi ride away on the other side of the Golden Horn. There is also a convenient tram stop just two minutes walk from the hotel, which provides a direct link to most of the Old Town.
