Pattaya hotels

Pattaya is one of the busiest resorts in Thailand and because of this, the hotel industry has grown enormously in the last few years. There is a very good selection of beachside luxury hotels to choose from and many more mid-range establishments.

If your budget does not stretch to any kind of extravagance, there are many guest houses within the town itself, which may not offer the extensive range of facilities as many of the more expensive hotels but they do offer good value and most have central locations.

Regardless of what your budget is, there will be something to suit. Many of the hotels offer great deals throughout the low season although whenever you travel, the room rate will always be cheaper than the equivalent in many European cities. Most of the five-star hotels are located on the beach with fantastic views out towards the sea.

The Dusit Resort in North Pattaya is an exclusive hotel boasting excellent facilities, luxurious rooms and a prime location in the north of the town. The Royal Cliff Beach Hotel is another top class establishment with a prime seaside location and the Amari Orchid lives up to its world-famous reputation by offering luxurious rooms and top class service. All of the premier hotels have business facilities although most people who arrive in Pattaya come for pleasure rather than business.

North Pattaya is home to a number of exclusive hotels and resorts. There is a varied nightlife suitable for families and couples. It is not as busy or intensive as other areas of the island and while there is a lot of budget accommodation, it is not as popular as the southern end of the beach for those looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful.

South Pattaya is really the heart of the town. It is here where you will find the main nightlife centre as well as the majority of restaurants and amenities. There is plenty of accommodation in all price ranges available although guest houses can predominantly be found inland. Most tourists tend to stay in southern Pattaya.

Central Pattaya offers a wide range of accommodation and is ideal for those who want to be close enough to visit the bustling nightlife scene with ease, but far enough away to be able to escape for some peace and quiet. Many independent hotels can be found along this stretch of beach offering good facilities for families or those looking for mid-range accommodation.

Other areas of the resort include the popular Thai beaches of Jomtien and Naklua. Jomtien attracts a number of Thai tourists and is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. It has its own social scene away from the hustle and bustle of South Pattaya and is ideal for families and couples looking for a romantic getaway.

Naklua is also a good place to escape the buzz. It is home to a number of resorts offering a range of facilities and is particularly popular with German tourists.
