Facilities include a very large saltwater swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre that is the biggest in Bangkok, along with tennis courts and squash courts. There is also a jogging track which is on top of the MBK shopping centre. The hotel is a modern rectangular glass high-rise building, beige in colour.

Lobby

The hotel has an impressive lower lobby, with escalators that take you up to the more intimate reception area. The lobby is very large, with a chic and modern international design. Intelligent lighting with color effects and mix of textures, material and base colors in the fabrics and fittings create a bright and trendy style. There are exits from both lobbies into the MBK shopping centre on the second floor.

Restaurant

The main restaurant, serving all-day dining, is in the lower lobby level A live kitchen and buffet in the center of the restaurant shows the cleanliness of the facilities. A live band is also available at the lobby bar. There is a Korean restaurant on the upper lobby level, which is popular with the local community. The Japanese restaurant offers an alternative option to the various restaurants around the area. The bakery on the ground floor also serves afternoon tea.

Rooms

Rooms are large and similar to one another, with light and airy colour schemes. The bathrooms are good. Superior, deluxe and execuplus room choices are available. All rooms will be non-smoking starting in April 2008. The hotel will provide a smoking room off the main lobby on the ground floor and a smoking zone in the open garden area on the 8th floor. Superior rooms are 34 sq m. Execuplus rooms are extra large, offering 64 sq m of space and with ultra-modern facilities, including 2 TVs, a DVD player, stereo and CD player, private in-room safe and a full-sized living room. A work desk, personal voicemail message facilities and two telephone extensions are provided, along with high-speed Internet. Execuplus guests enjoy personalized services, with separate express private check-in and check-out.

The hotel is located adjacent to the popular Mah Boon Krong (MBK) shopping center. The hotel is within walking distance of Siam Discovery Centre, Siam Square and Siam Paragon, the newest and biggest department store in Southeast Asia. The hotel is connected to the National stadium sky train station and is also within walking distance to the Siam Square station.
