Restaurant

Most of the restaurants are on the second floor. Only the Tivoli coffee shop is at lobby level. The Great Wall Chinese restaurant is on the 3rd floor and offers Cantonese specialities and famous Dim Sum. Rio Grill is a typical Brazilian churrascaria, Asiana serves Thai, Indonesian and Japanese cuisines and Saigon is a Vietnamese restaurant.

Lobby

It has a very large lobby with beautiful although dimly lit chandeliers.

General

The hotel has two swimming pools on the 5th and 12th floor, one in a tropical garden. Facilities also include a conference facility with capacity of a minimum 20 - 1500 pax, tennis court and fitness room. The hotel is located in the heart of the Thai local markets with easy access by Skytrain at Ratchatavee station.

Rooms

The old-feel lobby does not prepare you for the rooms which have a nice modern look. Rooms are large and similar. Furnished in off white and browns with vinyl armchairs. Hair dryer and safety box are in room. The feel is a bit European. Bathrooms are fair. Superior rooms located on 4th - 7th floors. Executive is 8th- 10th floors and Premier is 11th - 16th floors. Premier rooms provide tea/coffee making facilities, bathrobe, slippers and private check-in in the 17th floor lounge including services like complimentary soft drinks and afternoon tea.

Location

The hotel is located on Phayathai Road and within 15 minutes walking distance from the famous shopping centre, Maboonkrong, Siam Square and other local shopping areas. The good point is that now hotels have a sky walk from the sky train station Ratchatavee link directly to hotel building.
