The lobby is small but, by the clever use of mirrors, appears much larger.
It is a modern purpose built property which very much resembles an office block.
There are several restaurants at the hotel, all of them supplying excellent cuisine. There is the Thai restaurant, which serves exotic foods in exotic surroundings. There is the Penthouse famous bar on the top floor which enjoys panoramic views over Lucerne, as well as a traditional cafe/coffee shop and a more informal, modern restaurant serving American/French cuisine.
The rooms vary a little in size, but on average they are medium sized. They are housed in three interconnecting buildings and are extremely comfortable, decorated in modern style with bold, contrasting colourschemes with classy wooden flooring. The marble bathrooms are in the same exceptional condition as the rooms.
This hotel is close to the main railway station and only a short walk from the old bridge and the main shopping area.
