The reception area is very spacious and traditional in style, with numerous lounge and reading areas, including a pretty enclosed verandah and an imposing staircase leading to the first floor.

Exterior

The main building has a traditional old style facade, with the modern section of the hotel hidden around the side and at the back.

Restaurant

There are two restaurants; the one used for breakfast is large, with high ceilings and is imposing and there is also an elegant 'a la carte' restaurant with a bar.

Rooms

The building has elegant, some with access to a huge terrace and all are beautifully decorated in white and pastels, with bright bathrooms. The rooms and bathrooms are in good condition and offer a belle epoque style and a welcoming atmosphere.

Location

This hotel is fairly central, only a few minutes walk from the main shopping area. The rear of the hotel overlooks the river and the front faces the famous Jungfrau peak.
