Rooms

Many of the rooms have balcony with sea view, and the "Chico" wing of the hotel is ideal for families because most of the rooms have connecting doors.

Restaurant

Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style in the main restaurant, which also has a glass-covered climatized terrace to enjoy dining during the warm summer evenings. After dinner, the bar is a popular spot to relax with a coffee - or something stronger - and catch up with friends.

General

The Bahia del Sol is just 250 metres from the main sandy beach, where pinewoods provide excellent protection from the sun on hot sunny days. Sunbeds and parasols on the beach can be hired on a daily basis and there are pedalos for hire or a "sausage" ride at the south end of the beach. A safety area for swimming is normally roped off and pedalos, windsurfers, boats and jet skis are not allowed inside the safety zone. A lifeguard is in permanent attendance on this beach. The Hotel Bahia del Sol will appeal to couples and families - it is close (but not too close) to the shops, bars and restaurants in the resort. The activities and entertainment at the hotel, including live music and shows several nights a week, means there is something for everybody right on the doorstep. As well as an indoor pool, the attractive outdoor pool area is surrounded by spacious sun terrace area, with a separate section for children. For sports enthusiasts the hotel boasts its own gym which looks out over the pool area, plus a professional bike centre which, as well as offering a bike hire service, also arranges guided biking excursions - very popular in this area. There are no less than five 18-hole golf courses in the vicinity as well as a host of water sports including snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing. The reception team will be happy to assist with organising any of these for you.

Location

The Hotel Bahia del Sol is just across the road from the seafront and only 300 metres from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants at the centre of Santa Ponsa.
