General

The hotel is a little off the beaten path, for the fit tourist, being upriver from the night scene at boat and Clarke Quay, however, they are a very decent hotel for groups and fit clients who want to be close to the hustle and bustle but not within it. Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to Orchard Road and Chinatown. sg 03/08

Exterior

A bit dated, it is typical of a modern hotel structure from the 80's, with large glass windows and tower block design.

Lobby

Large and bright lobby, a Jade Chinese Junk sculpture sits on one side of the lobby. The lobby lounge is next to the reception and it could be of use as waiting lounge for group check-in.

Restaurant

You could enjoy local and western favorites at the 24 hour coffee house, where there is an indoor and al fresco area. There is a Japanese restaurant serving reasonably price authentic Japanese food and a Chinese restaurant with an authentic Chinese ambience.

Rooms

The old rooms come in an earth hue with somewhat dated furniture although well kept. Most of the rooms are newly renovated and the new rooms are of modern contemporary setting. The rooms are in combination of beige and brown colour with bronze curtain and bed cover. A 26-inch Plasma TV nicely boxes up within the brown and beige feature wall, giving the room more space to move around. The rooms are equipped with wire internet TV and wireless broadband access. The white bathroom is spacious and it comes with a long bathtub.

Situated along the Singapore river, upstream from Clarke Quay and Boat Quay, near Chinatown. Minutes' away from the Central Business District and Orchard Road. 10 minutes drive to World Trade Centre, Suntec Convention Centre and Marina area.
