General

Located in a very interesting area of Singapore yet the city is accessible by train 15 mins away. It is also 15 minutes to the airport which makes it a possible choice for stopovers. sg 03/09

Lobby

The medium sized lobby is open to the street though full glass pane. The stylish lobby has an elegant black marble top reception counter, grand chandelier and art pieces. There are ample seating area next to the reception and is a little internet room where computer are available for use at a small charge.

Exterior

The building is a low rise mauve coloured modern style building that is not outstanding in design. It blends well into the more modern buildings surrounding it and one is hard pressed to tell that it is a hotel. But tucked off the side street of Onan Road is the entrance which is quiet and peaceful.

Restaurant

There are no restaurants but breakfast is served at the pool side cafe which is nice and shady with wooden deck furniture.

Rooms

Rooms are spacious, bright and are tastefully design. The rooms are in good condition, have laminated flooring, individual air-con unit and look out either on the street or inward towards the pool. Rooms are also equipped with coffee and tea making facilities and are broadband available at a charge. Bathrooms are done in beige marble with shower in bath.

Location

Located within the rich cultural heritage, this area is famed for its Malay quarter and the Straits born Chinese, known as the Peranakan. The combination of the two cultures have produced a unique culture and cuisine all of which can be found in this area of Singapore. A less than 10 minutes ride from the nearby Paya Lebar MRT station will take you to Singapore Expo or to Orchard Road in 15 minutes.
