The hotel is part of the Hotel 81 chain operating eleven economical and low cost properties in Singapore. These are decent and clean hotels in a more local part of town. This is the budget hotel that is closest to the city area. sg 03/09

Lobby

The lobby is small but very elegantly modern in design with dark woods. A single counter manned by friendly staff with a small seating area. A little cafe next door is accessible from the lobby and breakfast seating is available upstairs.

Exterior

Modern exterior with egg blue color. The street is lined with many budget hotels and gives good walking access to Orchard Road, Marina Bay and Bugis shopping areas. One can do walking tours to museums and colonial era civic buildings. Also not to be missed is historical Fort Canning Park.

Rooms

Room is small, has white wash wall and maroon curtain. The entrance area has tile flooring and laminated flooring inside the room. As this is a basic hotel, amenities and furnishing are limited and consist of bed(s) with a small cupboard and coffee/tea and cable television facilities. However, quality and cleanliness are assured. The attached bathrooms are equipped with showers in the bath, some rooms have full size bath and half size bath in the others.

Location

Located within the city civic district, it is within walking distance of Orchard, Marina Bay and Bugis shopping areas. There are many museums and places of interest that one can do a walking tour of from the hotel.
