A little gem of a hotel just outside of the city area. Fully accessible by taxi to all shopping, it also provides wonderful little side streets to explore this famous and historical suburb of Singapore. Lobby

Done in the ultra modern minimalist style, the functional lobby leads one immediately up to the upper floors for restaurants. There is not much seating but the lobby is definitely large and airy.

Exterior

The exterior of the hotel is brick red with dark tinted glass and can be described as modern. It faces the road and has a short driveway. It is flanked on one side by a small mall.

Restaurant

Beads Restaurant serves a fusion Western and Thai cuisine. Feast @ East on the upper floor serves buffet during breakfast, lunch and dinner, and an la carte menu of Western and local specialties.

Rooms

The Superior rooms are 32 square meters, located on the 5th - 9th floor. Rooms have a high ceiling which gives a specious airy feel. The rooms are very modern in design, with a use of earthy tones and a large wooden headboard. Being a relatively new hotel, all furnishing and amenities are new and of a high standard. Rooms are equipped with coffee/tea making facilities. The bathrooms come with combined bathtub and shower.

Location

Located about a 10 minute drive to the city, the hotel is in a famous suburb of Katong. Katong is famous for its local Peranakan cuisine that developed from the mixing of the Chinese and Malay cultures. The hotel faces the large Parkway Parade shopping centre. It boasts walking accessibility to quaint shop houses in the Katong and Joo Chiat area as well as the East Coast Park.
