General

The rooftop swimming pool is the first of its kind among all hotels in this chain. A recommended hotel for budget travelers but the small room size could be a concern for the western market. sg 02/09

Lobby

The lobby is small and bright, the glass frontage brings in lots of daylight. The small reception is facing the entrance, there is a small sitting area on one side, a small tour desk on the other side and a small computer room further in where guest could purchase tokens to surf the net.

Exterior

The modern building was built in 2005 and stands out among the old buildings on the same row.

Restaurant

The coffee house seats about 50 guests, serves American breakfast and simple local and western specialties throughout the day.

Rooms

The rooms are small and are simply renovated with pastel colour wall. All rooms are equipped with plasma television with DVD player, individual controlled air-con, coffee/tea making facility. There is no proper wardrobe in the rooms, and a rack is available to hang clothing. The standing shower and toilet is packed within the small bathroom without any partition, basic but functional.

Location

The hotel is slightly outside Orchard Road, about 10 - 15 minutes walk away. In close proximity are Bugis Village and Sim Lim Square, the famous place for electronics and computers. Located not far from Selegie Road is the beginnings of Little India and the 24 hour Mustafa Shopping Center.
