This budget hotel chain is highly recommended and presents excellent value for money for the budget conscious. It is situated in an exciting part of Singapore that provides a glimpse into the local flavor of the island. sg 02/09

Exterior

The hotel exterior is modern and somewhat stands out against some of the quaint and colorful two-storey pre-Second World War shop houses. The building is multi-colored and in excellent condition.

Rooms

The rooms are small, simple but clean. They are equipped with basic amenities and a TV. There is no wardrobe in the room however racks are available for hanging clothes. The bathroom is small and basic, there is no partition between the toilet and the standing shower.

Location

Located within the suburb of Joo Chiat, Joo Chiat Road is lined by pre-war shophouses, some of which house vanishing trades and old furniture shops, whilst others house modern eateries, karaoke bars and nightclubs. Walking around the neighbourhood, one can find many examples of the mix of Chinese and the Malay tradition. It is a 10 minute drive to the beaches and parks in the East Coast and 5 minutes drive to the Parkway Shopping Centre.
