Location

This hotel is ideally located only half a mile west of the city centre, within minutes' walk of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre. The hotel is also well positioned for events at the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena. The main shopping street is just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is also opposite Kelvingrove Park, which provides a fabulous scenic park to enjoy walks.

Rooms

All bedrooms are of a high standard each offering its own charm and individuality. All have en-suite facilities with Colour TV, direct dial phone, Hair-dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, and digital clock radio. Rooms vary in size from small to medium according to the nature of the building, but all are decorated in traditional colours with deep reds. Room service is also available and baby-sitting service for guests to book in advance.

Restaurant

Located on the garden level, the restaurant captures a bygone era, steeped in Scottish history. An open fire, subtle lighting and warm hospitality all add to the ambience of this exceptional restaurant bar. A traditional Scottish menu is served along with European dishes and regularly have special steak nights, that are popular with locals. It is not simply a hotel restaurant.

Exterior

This Georgian built hotel has an impressive structure and is in excellent condition. The hotel is easily accessed, just off the M8, half a mile west of Glasgow city centre. It has a small private car park to the rear and street parking readily available.
