Lobby

The lobby is very large and has remarkable chandeliers, ceiling high arcades, impressive marble flooring and marble hallways leading to restaurants and banquet rooms. The whole decor is traditionally elegant with high ceilings and a huge central seating area.

General

This colonial style, 5 star hotel is a historic landmark in Manila. It opened its doors in 1912 and is the oldest deluxe hotel in the city. It has always been associated with gracious and refined living. The hotel has a wide range of Philippine colonial furniture, which blends with its contemporary setting. The hotel offers full international business facilities, a sports and health centre including swimming pool, tennis, squash courts, sauna and massage service, a games room and electronic golf simulator. Exterior

The hotel is all white concrete and steep green roofs. This hotel has an old wing and new wing. The main building is a modern tower standing behind the old building, which makes the hotel very visible even from far away.

Restaurant

The hotel has four restaurants. The elegant Champagne Room is an enclosed romantic dining room, with peacock chairs and crystal trees, offering French speciality cuisine and wines. All restaurants are located on the ground floor. The all-day dining restaurant, where breakfast is served, is large and open. The bar and lobby lounge offer guests drinks and live entertainment.

Rooms

Superior Deluxe Rooms are new Renovated Rooms located at the new Tower. All rooms and bathrooms are large and in excellent condition, offering elegance and a traditional style with luxurious comfort. Everything is provided for guests' well being, including full facilities and a cosy decor.

Location

The Manila Hotel, opposite Rizal National Park and Manila Bay, is just beside the Club Intramuros Golf Course, open day and night to all golfers. It is within walking distance of the old Spanish city Intramuros, Manila's top sightseeing spot. The hotel is close to museums and shops and is about 10 minutes drive to Malate, Manila's nightlife hotspot.
