Exterior

The hotel is newly-built of steel and glass. The lower floors of the hotel offer Skycity conference centre facilities, including one room with a 1000-person capacity.

Restaurant

There is one fine dining restaurant called Dine by Peter Gordon. The breakfast restaurant is called The Terrace. Within two minutes' walk of the Skycity Grand hotel there are five other restaurant outlets in the main Skycity complex.

Rooms

All rooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished. The hotel opened in April 2005, so all rooms are new and up-to-date. Lower level rooms have city views, higher floors have panoramic harbour and city views. Standard inclusions are tea coffeemaking facilities, iron , ironing board, mini bar, televsision and inhouse films.

Location

City centre and across the road from the main Skycity complex, including all its restaurants and casino outlets. There is a walkway between The Grand and the main Skycity complex. The hotel has two street entrances, the main entrance and lobby is at 90 Federal Street, the other entrance is on Albert Street.
