The hotel lobby is large. Lobby also acts as entrance for casino. Often busy with casino activity. Hotel check-in is off to the side.

Exterior

Modern brightly coloured building with a lot of glass. Dominated by the Sky Tower, New Zealand's tallest building, which stands out from afar.

Restaurant

Six restaurants - including fine dining in the revolving restaurant at the top of the Skycity Tower, a Chinese restaurant, a coffee shop and a buffet.

Rooms

The rooms are large, with brightly coloured furnishings using a lot of red and blue. Kept in excellent condition. All rooms have standard inclusions such as minibar, iron/ ironing board, tea/coffeemaking facilities.

Location

Sky City is in the heart of Auckland, five minutes' walk from the Harbour and a few minutes from the main shopping on Queen Street. The hotel is part of the overall Skycity casino complex.
