This hotel is the best of its category, both for location as well as the standard of its room and the way that hotel itself has been decorated. 07/07 A.DP.

Lobby

The lobby is medium-sized, with a semi-circular sliding door. It is furnished in a refined and very elegant style, with marble floors and Venetian stucco works. Light colours are used for the floor and walls. The reception desk is at the right of the entrance, and in front of it there is a pleasant sitting area with comfortable green sofas. The building also provides guests with a library furnished with light brown furniture and sofas.

Exterior

This property is an ancient Florentine house in an historical palace, dating back to 1200. It is a cream-coloured 5-storey block. On the top floor, there is the panoramic roof garden with an American bar, from which you can look out over the monuments and the Florentine hills.

Restaurant

This hotel does not have a proper restaurant, but it does have a beautiful breakfast room on the top floor. It is well decorated, with paintings and frescos on the ceiling dating back to 1800. The room is lit by sparkling chandeliers.

Rooms

The hotel has three different kinds of rooms: standard, executive and deluxe. The main difference is the view and the size, but all of them are carpeted. They are decorated in pastel colours and are of a very high standard, with a classic furniture. Bedspreads and curtains are nicely colour co-ordinated. Every floor is provided a pleasant sitting area composed of green sofas.

Location

This very centrally located hotel is situated next to Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) and very close to the Gallery of Art.
