The reception desk is in the corridor, at the front entrance to the building. It is small and unassuming.
The hotel is a street-facing, imposing Victorian building.
Breakfast is served in the Millan House, whilst guests can use the restaurant opposite in the sister hotel - the Mercer - for lunch and evening meals.
A short walk from Grafton Street and St. Stephen's Green, the hotel has an excellent location and is surrounded by good quality pubs, bars and restaurants.
The hotel is only open for the summer months, as for most of the year the building serves as the Hall of Residence for Dublin's Royal College of Surgeons. The rooms are therefore basic, but comfortable. All rooms are en-suite, with direct-dial telephone, colour TV and linen.
Comfortable, affordable rooms, in an ideal location throughout the summer. (NN 07/2008)
