The lobby is medium in size and was the final part of the hotel interior to be refurbished, in February 1999.
An excellent hotel, within walking distance of the tourist trail and still able to offer a more peaceful alternative to the Temple Bar area. There is a frequent airlink bus service from the airport to Heuston railway station, which is situated a short distance from the Ashling. (rt04/07)
The bistro is warm and informal, and adjacent to the traditional Irish bar.
The facade of the hotel gives the property a traditional look, although the interior and annexe are very new.
All the rooms were completed in August 1998, following a complete refit of the hotel, now under new management. They are medium in size, in excellent condition, decorated in yellows and blues.
Ideally situated for some of Dublin's most incredible panoramic views from the top of the Guinness brewery, alongside the river Liffey. This charming hotel is also just a fifteen-minute walk from Temple Bar and the city centre.
