This is a pleasant modern building with a concrete and glass facade, with a welcoming entrance.
The medium sized lobby has a number of small intimate seating areas, all decorated with modern, bright white furniture and cream tapestries. Public areas, conference and meeting rooms and corridors are functional rather than luxurious and make use of the same white modern furniture and walls. The bar also makes up part of the lobby.
There is no restaurant serving lunch or dinner, only a small breakfast room, adjacent to the lobby on the ground floor. There are a number of good restaurants right next to the hotel.
Rooms vary in size and lay out, however most are medium sized, and some are even large and spacious. They are of a good standard and bright, with a sofa and plenty of table/desk space. Bathrooms are similarly bright, modern and functional.
Nestled at the foot of Castle Hill on the Buda side of the city, the hotel is excellently located for shopping, seeing the best of the city's sights including the famous fishermen's bastion, Chain Bridge, and the old castle district.
This is a popular, pleasant hotel, with a quiet location in a nice part of Buda. (AHJ 07.08)
