This is a very nice and extremely friendly hotel, perfect for longer stays, with a unique character, and helpful and friendly staff who give you a hand with every problem or inquiry. 0508 hm

There is a small bistro bar on the ground floor serving drinks, but plenty of different restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor overlooking a small garden.

Rooms

All rooms are very spacious, decorated in a unique, English country house style, with elegance and warmth throughout. The bathrooms are spacious as well, and are also equipped to a high standard. Most of the furniture and paintings are unique and collected by the owner himself, with a very high taste of antique decoration.

The hotel Excelsior is located in the heart of Dusseldorf close to the Hofgarten. The wonderful private hotel is the ideal starting point for private visits as well as business as it is only 15 min away from the fair ground and the airport, reachable by car as well as with Public transport. For private visits it is even more convienient as you can reach the famous Old town by foot in just 10 minutes and the shopping area, The Koenigsallee is also only a 10 minutes walk away. You also find a lot of Bistros Bars Restaurants around the hotel and on either way, to the Old town or the Pedestrian shopping area.
