Lobby

In the original building, the atmosphere in the lobby is calm and spacious. It has beautiful white columns, high ceilings and a tall atrium. It is tastefully decorated and furnished with wooden fittings and many original antiques. A truly deluxe feel.

Exterior

Originally built in 1917 and listed as a protected building, the hotel has retained its original facade and beautiful stone tower positioned on a street corner. There is also a modernized new annex, with more rooms adjoining the hotel.

Restaurant

The hotel has a brasserie and bar in a large open atrium with a balcony, columns and period decor. It serves the best Scandinavian cuisine and local specialities. It really is a dining experience to remember. A stunning restaurant steeped in history, with exceptional food cooked in an open kitchen.

Rooms

All the rooms are large and in exceptional condition in this deluxe hotel. They vary a little in size in the older part of the hotel. They are decorated in three styles - Classic, Italian and Scandinavian. The bathrooms are white with marble, and are also in exceptional condition.

Location

The hotel is situated in the heart of Helsinki and the city's business, shopping and entertainment districts. It is next to the Finnish National Theatre and central railway station, yet it retains a peaceful feel as the entrance is down a quieter side street with little traffic.
