The lobby is small and modern, but there is plenty of seating in the adjacent restaurant.
This hotel is typical of the large number of properties built in the post-war period in Helsinki and is indeed protected as are most buildings in the area.
The hotel restaurant is located off the lobby. It is surprisingly large, with a dark blue colour scheme and modern furniture.
The rooms are medium-sized and in very good condition, with modern furnishings including a safe which is free of charge. Rooms are decorated in neutral colour schemes. Most have attractive wood laminate floors. The modern bathrooms are also in very good condition.
This hotel is situated in a leafy conservation area just a short drive from the centre of Helsinki. For those relying on public transport, a tram departs from just outside the hotel going directly to the city centre. The hotel's location is quiet and parking nearby is seldom a problem, unlike around most city centre hotels.
This friendly hotel comes highly recommended for guests for whom an absolute city centre location isn't top priority.
