This is an excellent hotel, one of the most exclusive and prestigious small hotels in London and the UK. A real treasure tucked away in one of the best London areas. The excellent service, tasteful decoration and its unbeatable location makes of this hotel one the most recommendable in London.A truly wonderful experience. (08/10 RPL)

Exterior

This is a beautiful red-brick Edwardian building with iron railings and window boxes, tucked away on it's own courtyard, lit by gas, cast iron lamps.

Lobby

The lobby, Drawing Room, the Conservatory and all other public areas are very tastefully decorated following a traditional British style, filled with art and antiques, but having been recently refurbished, they are all very airy and in pristine condition.

Restaurant

The cool & sophisticated Dukes Bar, the most "happening" bar in St James's, is the perfect place for what many consider to be the best Martini in the world. The Dining Room at Dukes serves Classic British dishes and several old favourite desserts. A great wine selection includes a special reserve selection with predominantly Old World reds. Dukes has a Drawing Room and Conservatory overlooking a courtyard Zen garden; a relaxed environment for breakfast, proper afternoon tea, or light meal anytime.

Rooms

The CLASSIC ROOMS are larger rooms than the standard category, and they all feature King Sized beds. All 90 luxury rooms have recently been upgraded and renovated. The rooms, of contemporary classic style, are decorated using luxury fabrics, dark wooden furniture and pastel colours. All the rooms enjoy amenities like wireless broadband, bathrobes, iPod speakers, DVD player, and complimentary newspaper and bottled water. Both the rooms and the black marble bathrooms are kept in excellent condition.
