Exterior

The building was originally made up of several grand Victorian terraced mansion houses, which have now been carefully restored to their former grandeur.

Restaurant

The hotel has two main restaurants. Peridot is an informal and spacious restaurant overlooking the garden square serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. 1880 offers more formal dining and the famous 'grazing' menu made up of six, seven or eight courses developed by the celebrated chef Andrew Turner.

Rooms

All of the large bedrooms in the hotel are beautifully furnished with silk panelled walls with each room featuring individual designs in varying colour schemes. However, luxury fretted linen and deep, hand-woven carpets are standard throughout. All the bathrooms are marble lined and feature walk-in showers and luxury toiletries. Standard rooms have queen beds.
