Lobby

The lobby is vast, grand and very impressive. An escalator takes you from street level to the first floor where the reception is on your left hand side. The enormous rear wall of the lobby is glass allowing streams of natural light to fill the room.

General

Rooms

Rooms are compact and comfortable measuring approx 24-29 sqm. They contain as much design chic as the largest suite, with wooden floors and draped curtains, white bathrooms with granite details, bathrobes and slippers, air-conditioning, cable TV with 24 international channels, and REN Clean Skincare bathroom amenities, plus the luxury of a turndown service. The decoration is consistent throughout the hotel with warm earthy colours and crisp white bed linen. Despite being located on a street which is only moderately busy, each window is triple glazed to ensure a quiet night.

Exterior

This former department store is an imposing construction set amongst the cobbled streets and squares of the city. The building dates to the late 1920's and maintains it's style extremely well. The facade is rendered and painted in a deep red, the windows are white creating a tasteful contrast.

Restaurant

The Brasserie Bleu serves a delightful buffet style breakfast in the mornings and contemporary cuisine thereafter. A street level cafe, called Cafe Blanc is also available serving a menu of both Danish and International cuisine. However, the most regarded establishment in the hotel is the hotel's very own cocktail and lounge bar, Bar Rouge. This exclusive venue is home to Copenhagen's most popular cocktail bar, where being on the guest list is essential. It offers world class DJ's during the weekend and award winning cocktails to tempt any taste bud.
