Restaurant

There is no restaurant other than a breakfast room on the ground floor to the right of the reception. It offers a number of white table-clothed tables around a central buffet serving table.

Exterior

It is a traditional white stone building impressively set on the corner of two streets. It has a charming appearance with a number of decorative architectural features around the windows and between each floor.

Lobby

The lobby is small and functions primarily as a reception with only a couple of chairs and small glass topped tables for aesthetics rather than regular use.

General

A charming hotel located in the very heart of Copenhagen's hotel district. It competes well against its peers with larger than normal rooms and a friendly service. The hotel initially had many more rooms than today's 65, but the owner's decided to combine many rooms to create much larger spaces, great for families on a leisure break, travellers staying for more than a few days and business guests. The concept is an upscale oasis and classical styled hotel for those who have a budget and like the 3 star approach. Highly recommended.

Location

Situated in the heart of Copenhagen in the trendy Vesterbro district this hotel offers an excellent location for leisure travellers. The Central Station is just over a 100 metres away while Copenhagen's most famous attractions, Tivoli Gardens, Storget (pedestrainised shopping street), City Square and Carlsberg Glyptotek are all within walking distance. The immediate area has a great bohemian feel with cosy cafes, trendy boutiques, stylish bars and many ethnic fast food outlets.

Rooms

Rooms are large, in fact by far the largest of all the hotels in this busy hotel district. They are classically designed with soft carpets and light wood furniture all of which are in keeping with the hotel's quintessential English ambiance. Each floor benefits from different coloured textiles. They are immaculately kept and in very good condition as are the large tiled bathrooms.
