When will my booking be confirmed?
You will receive an instant confirmation of your preferred hotel, subject to availability.And availability is available real time, which takes out the guesswork and long waits for confirmation.
When do I need to pay for my booking?
Your booking will be instantly confirmed at the time of booking. Payment is made once you have made a selection, confirmed availability and submitted your payment details.All booking information, including payment details, will be noted in your confirmation email and as an alert in " My Profile ". To review or change any of your DizzyGoat.com bookings, please log in to "My Profile" then select "My Bookings". You will see a list, ordered by date, of all bookings you have made on DizzyGoat.com.
Does Dizzy Goat charge a booking fee?
There is no booking fee with Dizzy Goat. This has been waived. There is no booking or credit card fee that suddenly appears when you checkout. DizzyGoat.com believes in value for money and this is what you get.
Once I have a confirmed booking, will the hotel have my booking details immediately?
Hotels receive your booking the time of your booking confirmation. However, they may only reserve the room, but not enter details such as guest name in their reservation system immediately. Many hotels will enter your booking details into their reservation system within 48 hours of your booking confirmation, some will wait until only a few days before your arrival date. But this very much depends on the individual hotel policy.
Where can I print a copy of the hotel voucher?
Once you have made payment and your booking has been confirmed, you will receive an email with your hotel voucher attached. You are also able to select "Print Voucher" in the "My Bookings" section of "My Profile". Once logged in to My Profile , select "My Bookings". You will see a list, ordered by date, of all bookings you have made on DizzyGoat.com. When you select a booking, you are able to choose "Print a voucher".
NOTE: in the USA and Canada travellers may not be allowed to check-in without a voucher or may be charged directly if they fail to present a valid voucher.
How can I make changes or cancel my DizzyGoat.com confirmed booking?
DizzyGoat.com makes it fast and simple to make changes or cancel your confirmed bookings. The process is fully automated on DizzyGoat.com, which means no matter what time of day it is where you are, you can make changes in real time.
Once logged in to My Profile , select "My Bookings". You will see a list, ordered by date, of all bookings you have made on DizzyGoat.com.
After you have selected the relevant booking, you have the following options:
- Amend: Change arrival or departure date, change room type, shorten or lengthen your stay, etc. You will see the real time availability relevant to your amendment.
- Cancel: Review our Cancellation Policy
- Re-book: Make a new booking with the same information. You will only need to insert the new arrival and departure date and you can also edit any of the details that have changed.
Please note that all amendments and cancellations are subject to administration fees as detailed in our Policy.
Can you give me a receipt for my booking?
Yes, after your departure date, a receipt for your booking will be available for you to print located in "My Profile". When logged in to DizzyGoat.com select "My Profile". All past and future bookings are listed in the "My Bookings" Tab. When you select a past booking, you are able to choose "Print a receipt".
Can I make a group booking?
You can only make individual bookings on DizzyGoat.com for up to 9 persons - each will be treated separately. However, we will make every effort to communicate connecting rooms or nearby room requests to the hotel. But bear in mind that it will be done according the the hotel's individual policy and availability.
What does 'Open' status mean in My Profile?
'Open' status means your booking has NOT been successfully completed at this point. The Dizzy Goat team are attending to the situation and will rectify the issue as soon as possible. If you need further information, feel free to contact us.
Dizzy Points
What are Dizzy Points?
- Dizzy Points are rewards that can be redeemed against future bookings.
- New members will automatically receive 100 bonus points (1,000 Dizzy Points = USD$10). You will get an email to confirm you as a new member including member ID and password. With this you can access your DizzyGoat account and enjoy the benefits of Dizzy Points in the future.
- Dizzy Points are converted into equivalent Singapore Dollars (SGD), British Pounds (GBP), Euros (EUR) or Australian Dollars (AUD) when you make a booking in the respective currency. But Dizzy Points are always stored as 1,000 Dizzy Points equals 10 US Dollars (USD).
- Dizzy Points are credited to your account 30 days after your departure date from the hotel.
- After being credited, Dizzy Points have 3 months validity but everytime you book, outstanding points will be extended for another 3 months.
Regular bookings mean you can save these up for a free hotel stay when you have collected enough points or simply get an extra discount on your current hotel.
However a minimum charge at USD10 per booking has been set.
- You can earn Dizzy points by making a booking.
How are Dizzy Points calculated when I make a booking?
- This can vary depending on the destination, hotel and any special offers that Dizzy has at the time. But the extra discount Dizzy Points gives you when making a a booking is anything from 2% upwards of your booking cost.
How can I redeem my Dizzy Points?
- You must be a member. You can either sign up before you make a booking and earn a bonus 100 points or when you make your first ever booking 100 bonus points will automatically be added.
- When you make your booking at the payment stage you will be prompted to redeem your points to earn your discount. Simply tick the box to say you want to redeem your points and type how many you wish to redeem. Of course if you want to save your points for a bigger discount on future bookings then you can do this also.
- Dizzy Points are converted to the currency in which you are paying.
How do I know my Dizzy Points balance?
- Log in to My Profile with your username and password. If you have forgotten either of these they can be re-set by entering your email address.
- As soon as you are logged in your Dizzy Points will appear in the My Profile box on the left side of the page.
- You can also review your complete Dizzy Point history by clicking the My Profile tab at the top of the Dizzy Goat page and then go to Points tab.
Cancellation & Refunds
What is the DizzyGoat.com Cancellation & Amendment policy?
DizzyGoat.com applies a standard, simple cancellation policy. It applies to all bookings unless the hotel you have booked is more stringent and has different terms and conditions to those stated below. We will tell you the hotel's terms and conditions during the booking process, prior to confirmation and payment.
Please review all cancellation policies that apply:
- For any change to your reservation, including cancellation, a nominal US$10 administration fee will be applied.
- If you cancel close to your arrival date, a 1 night charge may apply. The 1 night charge will only be applied if that is the policy of the hotel. In your booking details, the date that you are able to cancel your booking without incurring a 1 day charge will be displayed. Once logged in to " My Profile ", select "My Bookings". You will see a list, ordered by date, of all bookings you have made on DizzyGoat.com. When you review the booking details, you will see the following text: "You can amend or cancel this booking before [DATE], with no penalty, except an administration fee of $10 USD. A credit card fee may also apply."
- If you do not check in to your hotel for any reason, you must call the emergency number detailed on your hotel voucher or DizzyGoat.com Customer Care .
- If you fail to promptly cancel your booking or if you do not show up for your booking, you may be liable for the full amount of your booking.
What is the DizzyGoat.com Refund policy?
We like to keep things simple - so you can make changes, cancel and request a refund easily online at DizzyGoat.com. To review or change any of your DizzyGoat.com reservations, please log in to " My Profile " then select "My Bookings".
- If your reservation was paid by credit card and you would like a refund back to your credit card, a 10% refund fee will apply.
- If you would like your refund amount credited to your DizzyGoat.com account in the form of a voucher, there is no refund fee.

What is your Privacy policy?
DizzyGoat.com is committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your personal details secure. We will only send you information that you have requested and will never give your contact information to a 3rd party.
How do you secure my credit card details?
VeriSign Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology ensures that your personal information remains secure. VeriSign 128-bit encryption "scrambles" your credit card data as it travels the web to our secure server, converting the numbers into an encrypted code. This guarantees that no one can intercept them midstream and enables you to shop with confidence. This is the highest standard of internet security available online today.
When I make a booking, do you store my credit card details?
DizzyGoat.com does not ever store your credit card details. Each time you make a booking, the credit card details you enter will only be used to settle payment for that booking.
In fact, the credit card details are transmitted directly to your bank via Verisign Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and are not captured by Dizzy Goat as we use the 3D Secure payment technology.
I have heard DizzyGoat.com uses 3D Secure. What is 3D Secure?
3D Secure stands for Three Domain Secure. It is the payment industry's internet authentication standard which has been developed by the main credit card issuers.
Visa has called their version of the scheme 'Verified by Visa' and MasterCard have called their equivalent initiative 'MasterCard SecureCode'.
These are both collectively referred to as 3D Secure.
How does 3D Secure work?
3D Secure authentication requires the cardholder to register their card with the bank that issued it.
3D Secure is an online version similar to that of 'Chip and Pin' technology which is now used by most card issuers.
The cardholder has a personalised password or pin registered with their card that is entered during the payment process at most shops.
What is the difference between 3D Secure and Secure Code?
The secure code that is requested when making an online booking is the 3 digit number printed on the reverse of your Visa and Master Card next to the signature strip.
American Express is a 4 digit code that is printed on the front of the credit card after the credit card number.
This number can also be referred to as CVC2, CVV2 and CVD. The key difference with 3D Secure is that the password or pin is held by the cardholder and does not appear on the card anywhere and makes online payment very secure.
Only the cardholder and the issuing bank will ever know this password or pin.
Is 3D Secure technology widespread?
3D Secure has become the industry standard and all online consumers will soon become totally familiar with this, just like entering your pin number at a cash dispenser.
However it is still being rolled out so many online merchants still do not currently use this added security.
DizzyGoat.com uses it for the added assurances it gives you plus we want to be at the forefront of technology.
How do I register my one time password for 3D Secure as I have never made an online payment with it so far?
This one time process takes place the first time you use the card online and is carried out on the card issuer's website.
Do not be alarmed when asked these questions. You will easily see that you are connected to your bank which has issued the card.
The initiation process involves you, the cardholder, answering some security questions which only you and the card issuer will know the answers.
The cardholder selects a password or pin and may set a secret phrase too. This pin or password is used every time you make an online transaction using that credit card.
What happens if my card is not a 3D Secure card? Can I still book with Dizzy Goat?
Do not worry, not all credit cards are issued as 3D Secure yet. Dizzy Goat will continue to process non 3D Secure cards as part of the normal process and using the same encryption technology

What is the difference between booking a hotel with DizzyGoat.com or with the hotel directly?
Dizzy Goat’s discounted rates and instant availability confirmation are exclusively available through DizzyGoat.com. There's no waiting around for days to find out if your preferred hotel is available - Dizzy gives it to you straight away. If you make a reservation directly with your preferred hotel you may pay a higher room rate. Also you will not be able to accrue Dizzy Points, which are awarded every time you make a confirmed booking on DizzyGoat.com. Dizzy Points applied to later bookings give you even more savings!
Is the cost quoted on DizzyGoat.com the total price?
Dizzy Goat is honourable so once you have entered in your booking details,
Dizzy Goat.com will display the discounted rate including all applicable service charges and local taxes relating to the room.
The total price is all inclusive for the room stay, with no hidden charges.
Incidentals such as room service and mini bar are of course not included in the price.
In rare instances, some hotels levy an energy surcharge or a resort fee that must be paid directly to the hotel at check in.
It is possible that some local authorities levy a tourism tax or your credit card company adds an overseas transaction fee. These items are not related to the room charge as well as being beyond the control of DizzyGoat.com and again are not common.
Dizzy Goat has a strong sense of right and wrong. There is no small print hiding from our side.
Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
All our rates are based on occupancy per room, for either 1 or 2 guests. Please make sure you enter the exact number of adults and children for each room, so rates shown will reflect your precise booking requirements.
At what ages do child rates apply?
Most hotels define children as being from 2 to 12 years old. Infants are usually defined as younger than 2 years old. At the time of booking, please advise if you require an extra bed or a baby cot for your infant. Kindly be advised that hotels reserve the right to verify the legal age of children.
Do I need a credit card when I check in to a hotel?
Most hotels require a major credit card to be provided upon check-in to cover incidentals. In the absence of a credit card, a cash deposit may be required. All extras incurred by travellers must be paid directly to the hotel before their departure; DizzyGoat.com will not be responsible for travellers’ personal hotel charges.
What kind of Meal Plan is included in the room rates?
Most, not all, hotels include breakfast as part of the room rate. Some resorts may offer additional meals as part of the room rate (e.g. half-board, full board). However, when you search for and select a hotel, the meal plan information will always be displayed in your search results.
