This hotel is a non-smoking hotel. It offers a very central location with well priced rooms. This hotel has undergone massive refusbishement in 2007 as is of excellent standard for the pricing. (RC020608)

The lobby is medimum in size and "old world" style with some seating available. Pleanty of holiday brochures with local and regional tours. There is also internet access available

Mercure rooms are reasonably sized (although size differs between single and twin bedded rooms). Rooms are clean and generally in a good condition. All are ensuite with all the facilities one would expect from a 4 star hotel such as Centralised air-conditioning, Direct-dial telephone, Radio, Complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, Remote control colour television, In-house pay movie and foxtel

Restaurant

The Federal Restaurant and Bar is located in the foyer of the hotel. The bar features a flat screen TV and 2 internet terminals for guests to use. The Breakfast room is located on the first floor. Following an extensive AUD$100,000 refurbishment, the Federal now features new furnishings within the restaurant as well as comfortable new sofas in the lounge area and a refitted bar. Al fresco dining available at the front of the hotel
